Global coverage
Global Satellite Coverage
With GPS tracking tags, communication from the tag is direct to the satellites,
allowing for worldwide coverage in more than 120 countries and across oceans. No
matter where the shipment is located in the world, SiteSense® can track its position.
Rugged tracking tags
SiteSense® GPS tracking
tags have been designed and tested to withstand the harshest requirements in industrial
environments and shipping environments. They meet or exceed military specifications
for drop, vibration and environmental testing conditions. They have been fully certified
for operations in more than 120 countries as well as hazardous locations for the
oil and gas industry.
Easy to install
SiteSense® GPS tags
are small allowing for inconspicuous or non-detectable installation to the shipment.
GPS tags can be attached to the shipment in matter of minutes via strong earth magnets
or screws. The GPS tags have an internal battery source allowing them to operate
for years at a time. So there’s no need to complicate the tag installation with
any wires. Simply tag and track.
Alerts and notifications
Setup alerts and notifications to warn system users that shipments are in certain
areas.
Secure Web-based software
With SSL encrypted web-based software there’s no software to load onto desktop and
laptop computers. This helps keeps deployment and support costs low and allows for
secure access from anywhere there’s an Internet connection. SiteSense® Material Tracking and Global Shipment Tracking
can be accessed from within the same software, so there’s no need for multiple software
platforms to track RFID and GPS tags.
Reporting tools
Pivot table reports are available for download from the SiteSense® Website to allow for maximum versatility of reporting
on received materials, material positions, coverage reports and more.
Integration tools
SiteSense® data can
easily be integrated with other material management systems by using one of many
integration tools available from SiteSense®.
Expedite faster
By knowing exactly where your shipment is located, without having to go through
a 3rd party freight company, you can help to expedite your own shipment. If your
shipment is delayed, know where it has been delayed and make the appropriate actions
to get the shipment back on track.
Setup permits on time
As your shipment moves, you can setup permits and pilots right when needed so there
is no delay with a shipment waiting for an approved movement permit to continue
its journey. SiteSense® gives you the capability to rely less on a 3rd party to
tell you where the shipment is located and more on your own shipping requirements
to get the job done on time.
Reduce rigging costs
By setting up alerts for the crew waiting for the shipment to arrive, cranes and
personnel can be deployed right when needed, resulting in a reduced cost for the
equipment and crew.
